Our fleet includes three different sightseeing boats, each offering its own way to experience Budapest: the intimate Hableány Paddle Steamer, the grand historical Kisfaludy Paddle Steamer, and the modern Citadella sightseeing boat.

Hableány Paddle Steamer

The Hableány Paddle Steamer is our smaller historical sightseeing boat, offering a more intimate and relaxed way to discover Budapest from the Danube.

Its paddle-steamer design recalls the atmosphere of 19th-century steam navigation, while its smaller size creates a family-friendly onboard experience. The Hableány is inspired by the historic paddle steamer that travelled from Budapest to Paris in 1867 under the leadership of Ödön Széchenyi.

During the 1-hour Budapest sightseeing cruise, guests can enjoy panoramic views from the outdoor deck, while an onboard bar offers a selection of drinks throughout the journey. The Hableány is an ideal choice for travellers looking for a small-group sightseeing experience with historical character and great value.

Kisfaludy Paddle Steamer

The Kisfaludy Paddle Steamer offers a grand historical setting for sightseeing on the Danube, combining Budapest’s iconic views with an authentic and lively onboard atmosphere.

The ship is inspired by the story of Lake Balaton’s first steamship, closely connected to István Széchenyi and the development of steam navigation in 19th-century Hungary. Its traditional paddle-steamer design and spacious decks make the Kisfaludy a distinctive choice for travellers who want to combine Budapest sightseeing with a historical experience.

A welcome drink of premium Tokaj Frizzante or orange juice is included, while the onboard bar offers additional drinks during the cruise. An unlimited drinks option is also available. From the open deck, guests can enjoy panoramic views and excellent photo opportunities throughout the 1-hour journey.

Citadella Sightseeing Boat

The Citadella offers a modern Budapest sightseeing cruise focused on comfort, panoramic views and a relaxed onboard experience.

The vessel features a spacious, climate-controlled interior and an open-air 360° panorama deck, allowing guests to enjoy the Budapest skyline in different weather conditions throughout the year. Large windows also provide excellent views of the Danube and the city’s riverside landmarks from inside the boat.

A welcome drink of premium Tokaj Frizzante or orange juice is included, and the onboard bar serves a wide selection of additional drinks. An unlimited drinks option is also available. The Citadella is ideal for travellers looking for premium comfort and panoramic views during their Budapest boat tour.

Departure and Tickets

All of our Budapest sightseeing cruises depart from Dock 10, located on the Pest side of the Danube next to Elizabeth Bridge, near Március 15. tér. Tickets can be purchased online in advance or on-site at the dock before departure, subject to availability. All cruises last approximately 60 minutes and take you through the central section of Budapest, offering views of the city’s most famous landmarks from the Danube.
